What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies and similar technologies can store or read information on your device. Local storage is another way a website can remember a setting between visits.
The website uses first-party analytics described below. It does not include advertising pixels or embedded social media feeds. Fonts are hosted with the site. Links to LinkedIn, Google reviews and other resources take you to those services, where their own privacy and cookie information applies.
Your analytics choice
Optional analytics is off until you choose to allow it. It helps us understand unique browsers, visits, useful articles and actions on the website. We do not use advertising pixels or share visitor identifiers with advertising platforms. Basic request counters use no persistent visitor identifiers; choosing analytics off also stops future counters from this browser when the preference is sent.
Choose what works for you
Optional analytics is off unless you have previously allowed it. JavaScript is needed to update your choice here.
The cookie samaryam-analytics remembers your choice for 90 days. When you allow analytics, samaryam-analytics-visitor in local storage contains a random browser identifier used for up to 90 days. samaryam-analytics-session contains a random visit identifier and the referring domain and campaign labels for that visit. A visit ends after 30 minutes of inactivity. Expired local storage values are cleared or replaced when you next visit. Turning analytics off removes both local storage values immediately.
We respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. No optional analytics identifiers are created while those signals are enabled. Browser storage controls, blockers and cleared cookies affect the completeness of analytics. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
Your motion preference
You can pause or enable animations using the motion control in the footer. By default, the setting is used for the current page without saving it between visits. We also respect your device’s reduced motion setting.
Choose the option below if you want this website to remember your motion choice. Switch it off to remove the saved choice and stop saving it. Without a saved choice, a new page follows your device setting.
Optional. This saves a setting in your browser, not your enquiry details.
Remembering is off by default. JavaScript is needed to change this setting.
What is saved when you choose to remember
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| samaryam-motion | Your selected motion setting | Until remembering is switched off or site data is cleared |
| samaryam-motion-remember | Records your choice to save the setting | Until remembering is switched off or site data is cleared |
These values are used only for the motion preference. They are not advertising identifiers.
Hosting and form services
The hosting provider may use cookies or similar technologies needed for security, service delivery and authentication. Administrator sign-in uses the strictly necessary, first-party cookies __Host-samaryam-access and __Host-samaryam-refresh. They keep the editor signed in and allow the server to refresh an authorised session. The access cookie lasts up to one hour; the refresh cookie lasts up to eight hours from the last session refresh. Cookies are scoped to the hostname where you sign in. Moving between the website and a separate portal hostname can require signing in again. Both are sent securely over HTTPS, are inaccessible to browser JavaScript and are removed from this browser when you sign out. These authentication cookies are separate from optional analytics and are only needed when using administrator sign-in. Ordinary access to this public website does not require sign-in.
The enquiry and document request forms send a request to Formspree when you submit them. The website does not load a Formspree tracking script or a third party CAPTCHA widget. See our Privacy Policy for how enquiries are processed.
Browser controls and future changes
You can also clear this website’s cookies and local storage using your browser’s site data settings. Clearing authentication data may sign you out of any hosting features where you have signed in.
If we change analytics or add embedded content or other storage technologies, we will update this information and provide any controls or consent choices required for that use.
